For some reason using AutoTURN in a CAD file will always result in the creation of a bunch of unpurgeable layers and blocks in your CAD file permanently even if you delete all of the file's AutoTURN created objects Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Autodesk Civil 3D 2015 2022 alignments Bentley MicroStation V8i (SS4 and up), CONNECT (Update 12 and up) Bentley OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Minimum AutoTURN 10.2.3 or AutoTURN Pro 10.2.3 (sold separately) installed on the same workstation System Requirements: Full support for 64-bit operating systems Workstation: Windows 7, 8, 8. Once you finish creating your turning movement, you can't use the vanilla AutoCAD MOVE command to move the created turning movement block and then come back and adjust the turn as doing so will move it back to the original location it was created in They should re-think the way you initially place a vehicle as it takes too many trial and error attempts to get the vehicle placed in just the right spot at the perfect rotation. The base version of the software is missing just about every type of construction vehicle in case you wanted to analyze how a loader or haul truck would access an urban construction site. In order to get the AASHTO 2011 vehicle libraries, I had to purchase an upgraded version it would've been nicer to have had just an option to buy that one vehicle library separately for a reduced cost. This is extremely frustrating and annoying because you normally have to make sure each vehicle turning path is in a separate layer since you are typically analyzing multiple vehicles or different geometry alternatives. You have to create your vehicle turning path in the correct layer once the turning path is created, it is not possible to change the layer of the AutoCAD block it creates and then turn that layer off in a viewport. There's been virtually no enhancements or improvements to the software in the past 5 years.
